Welcome to the Discover the Delta Foundation blog.
The foundation is two year old California nonprofit corporation that is dedicated to increasing the awareness of the California Delta, a unique series of canals located between San Francisco and Sacramento.
The centerpiece of the foundation's work is construction of the two-story, 7,000 square foot Discover the Delta Information Center, which will be located at state highways 12 and 160 eat of Rio Vista. An achitect's computer generated image of the center appears above this post.

In addition, the foundation works to protect the environment, so that the Delta is a better place to live, work, recreate and enjoy.
